37 µm Reversible Strainer, Small

A precision-engineered filtration tool from STEMCELL Technologies, this small-format reversible strainer is designed to prepare single-cell suspensions and isolate cellular aggregates. The device features a 37 µm nylon mesh and includes an integrated tab that allows secure manipulation with forceps or gloved hands. Its reversible frame enables bi-directional use: suspensions can be filtered in the forward direction into a collection tube, and the strainer can then be inverted to recover cells retained on the mesh surface. Each unit is supplied sterile and individually wrapped. The strainer supports a range of research workflows, including preparation of single-cell suspensions from dissociated primary tissues such as spleen, lymph node, or bone marrow, sample clean-up prior to immunomagnetic cell separation, removal of micro-clumps ahead of flow cytometry, and recovery of embryoid bodies and spheroids from microwell culture plates. Additional pore-size variants are available, and multiple strainers can be stacked to refine size selection during filtration.
