100 µm Reversible Strainer, Small

STEMCELL Technologies offers a compact reversible strainer equipped with a 100 µm mesh for the filtration of single cells and isolation of cellular aggregates from smaller-volume samples. Single cells and objects smaller than the mesh pass through, while larger aggregates are trapped on the strainer and can be recovered separately. The reversible design permits filtration as well as convenient back-transfer to recover retained material.

The strainer is suited for preparation of cell suspensions for culture, microscopy, or flow cytometry when working with limited sample volumes, and is applicable for harvesting embryoid bodies and spheroids from AggreWell™ plates, or for isolating single cells after tissue dissociation or prior to flow cytometry. The small-format strainer is compatible with 14 - 15 mL conical tubes and 3 - 5 mL round-bottom tubes.
