Vortex Adapter for 6 (5 & 15 ml) Tubes

Designed for use with the Vortex-Genie 2 Vortex, this QIAGEN adapter maximizes homogenization while supporting bead beating, long mixing times and other unique applications. The adapter holds tubes horizontally, increasing the contact surface area between beads and sample, and enables multiple tubes to be shaken at the same time. This configuration provides superior efficiency, saving time and improving yield. The accessory accommodates up to 6 tubes of 5 ml or 15 ml. It is not recommended for use at temperatures below 4°C, and has been tested for use only with tubes formerly marketed by MO BIO.
