Vortex Adapter for 2 (50 ml) tubes

This QIAGEN vortex adapter is designed for use with the Vortex-Genie 2 Vortex, holding tubes horizontally to maximize the contact surface area between beads and sample. It accommodates 50 ml tubes and is suited to bead beating, long mixing times and other applications requiring extended or vigorous homogenization. The manufacturer advises that the adapters are not recommended for use at temperatures below 4°C, and notes that they have only been tested for use with tubes formerly marketed by MO BIO.
