QX Size Marker 25 bp-500 bp v2.0(50 µl)

From QIAGEN, this v2.0 DNA size marker covers fragments ranging from 25 to 500 bp and is intended for use with QIAxcel DNA Kits. The marker contains fragments of 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, and 500 bp at a concentration of 100 ng/µL. The 300 bp fragment is present at a higher concentration than the others and appears with greater intensity in the virtual gel. It is shipped at ambient temperature and should be stored at 2–8°C upon receipt, where it remains stable until expiry under QIAGEN's ISO-certified Quality Management System, with each lot tested against predetermined specifications. The product is intended for molecular biology applications and is not intended for the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of a disease.

When used with QIAxcel instruments, the QIAxcel ScreenGel software or BioCalculator software calculates DNA fragment size based on the migration time in comparison to the reference size marker, using a point-to-point calculation with two marker fragments. To enable accurate size measurements, the DNA fragments being analysed must fall within the smallest and largest fragment sizes of the marker.
