QX DNA Size Marker Large-Fragment Kit

A ready-to-use DNA size marker from QIAGEN, designed for optimal DNA size determination of large fragments when used with QIAxcel DNA Kits on the QIAxcel instrument. The marker contains calibrated fragments of 1, 3, 5, 10, and 20 kb at a concentration of 22.75 ng/µL, together with a 15 bp Alignment Marker, and is intended for molecular biology applications such as nucleic acid quality control, fragment analysis, and automated capillary or microfluidic electrophoresis. The product is not intended for the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of a disease.

The kit is shipped on a gel pack at 2–8°C and should be stored at 2–8°C upon receipt, where the components remain stable until expiry. Each lot is tested against predetermined specifications under QIAGEN's ISO-certified Quality Management System to ensure consistent product quality. The marker is pre-diluted for direct use with the QIAxcel DNA High Resolution Kit; for genomic DNA quality control, a minimum sample volume of 10 µl is required for analysis, of which less than 0.1 µl is injected into the QIAxcel DNA Cartridge, with the remainder available for re-analysis. Use of the recommended "DNA Large Fragment Marker" process profile enables automatic run setup and marker analysis on the QIAxcel system.
