Pipette tips in the 50–1000 µl range from Eppendorf are manufactured to high quality and purity standards from high-purity plastic materials, offering optimum transparency and ideal wetting properties. Designed as part of the Eppendorf "Totally Integrated Pipetting System" (epT.I.P.S.), the tips pair with Eppendorf pipettes to deliver reduced-force attachment and ejection with complete sealing, supporting maximum precision, accuracy and reproducibility.

The universal nose cone design allows these disposable tips to be used with pipettes from other manufacturers as well. An ergonomically optimized cone geometry provides an optimal fit on Eppendorf pipettes, while color-coded trays make volume identification easier. Fine graduations on the tips support visual checks of the pipetting volume, and long, narrow tips reach the base of narrow and high vessels. Fine retracted or extended tip geometries simplify work with small volumes. The range is available in purity grades including Eppendorf Quality, PCR clean, Sterile and Eppendorf Biopur®.

Typical applications include pipetting liquids, dispensing liquids, mixing liquids, filling plates and reaction vessels, filling gels for electrophoresis, and phase extraction and removal of supernatants.
