With a volume range of 0.1–10 µl and a tip length of 34 mm, Eppendorf epT.I.P.S. Standard pipette tips are manufactured to Eppendorf Quality purity standards and packaged in resealable bulk bags as non-sterile, colorless tips with a dark gray colour code. Produced from high-purity plastic materials, the tips offer optimal wetting properties and high transparency. They meet EN ISO 8655 requirements and deliver minimal attachment and ejection forces together with a high level of sealing tightness when paired with Eppendorf pipettes. The universal nose cone design also allows the tips to be used with pipettes from other manufacturers.

The ergonomically optimised cone geometry provides an optimal fit on Eppendorf pipettes, and the long, narrow shape allows the tips to reach the base of narrow and high vessels without touching the top edge. Fine graduations support visual checks of the pipetting volume. Standard epT.I.P.S. pipette tips can be autoclaved at 121 °C in 20 min. The epT.I.P.S. range is also offered in higher certified purity grades including Sterile, PCR clean, Biopur, and Forensic DNA Grade for applications with stricter purity requirements. Typical applications include pipetting liquids, dispensing liquids, mixing liquids, filling plates and reaction vessels, filling gels for electrophoresis, and phase extraction and removal of supernatants.
