Manufactured by Eppendorf as part of the BioBased consumables range, these pipette tips are produced from recycled raw materials derived solely from waste and residues from vegetable oil production, such as used cooking oil. They are presented as a sustainable option for pipetting needs, helping to reduce reliance on virgin fossil-based plastics in the laboratory.

The yellow-coded tips measure 53 mm in length and accommodate a volume range of 2–200 µL. They are certified to Eppendorf's Biopur® purity grade, which combines the brand's guaranteed quality attributes — including verified function, tightness, precision, low wetting, high chemical and thermal resistance, high transparency, and precise shaping — with confirmation that the tips are free from PCR inhibitors, pyrogens, RNases, ATP, and DNases, and that they are supplied sterile. Each production lot is supported by a batch purity certificate to assist quality assurance in sensitive applications.
