Benzodiazepine (Oxazepam)-BSA Antigen

The product is presented at 1 mg per vial in10 mM Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.2, with the oxazepam hapten covalently coupled to a Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) carrier protein, and a typical lot-specific concentration of approximately 5.0 mg/mL. The conjugate is intended for in-vitro diagnostic and research applications including ELISA (EIA) and Lateral Flow (LF) immunoassays used to screen for benzodiazepine exposure, and the same antigen format is widely paired with anti-benzodiazepine detection monoclonals from the same supplier range (matched detection antibodies such as A33581 in mouse IgG1/kappa or the A33479 sheep polyclonal). For handling, the conjugate should be stored short-term at 2–8 °C and long-term at –20 °C, with protection from repeated freeze/thaw cycles to preserve immunoreactivity of the BSA-bound oxazepam.
