YAP (phospho Ser127) Cell Based ELISA Kit

A Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Antibodies.com designed for the indirect in vitro quantitative determination of YAP1 levels in adherent and suspension cells. The kit enables detection of YAP1 phosphorylated at Ser127 and the effects of stimulation conditions on its expression across different cell lines, with reactivity toward Human (Ser127), Mouse (Ser112) and Rat (Ser112). No cross-reactivity has been reported.

Phosphorylated YAP1 is captured by anti-YAP (phospho Ser127) antibodies and detected using HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, which catalyse a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. Three normalisation methods are described: an anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control, Crystal Violet whole-cell staining is used to determine cell density after the colorimetric read-out, and an anti-YAP antibody is provided for normalising the phosphorylated signal against total target.

The assay is qualitative and colorimetric, run on a tissue culture treated microplate, with an assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Storage is at +4°C, where the kit remains stable for 3-6 months.
