A compact, all-in-one orbital vortex mixer from MOLEQULE-ON, Auckland, New Zealand, is designed for a range of samples that can be conveniently shaken either gently or vigorously. Its versatile mixing head accommodates a variety of tubes, small containers, and microplates, supporting both touch-activated and continuous operation modes for flexible workflow control.

Features include a compact design with four pre-set positions controlled by three speed settings (OFF, 1000, 2000 and 3000 rpm) and a three-position slider power switch: Intermittent/touch at the top, OFF in the center, and Continuous ON at the bottom. The single head accepts tubes from 0.2 ml to 50 ml and includes a center pad area for hand-held mixing. A weighted base with elastomeric feet prevents movement and provides vibration dampening and stability during operation.

Operating on 110–120 / 220–230 VAC at 60 W with a frequency of 50 / 60 Hz, the unit delivers a robust orbital action in a bench-top footprint suited to one-handed use. Typical applications include rapid sample mixing, reagent homogenization, pellet resuspension, cell and culture handling, and plate and tube agitation during routine sample preparation and diagnostics workflows in research, clinical, and teaching laboratories.
