Sheep Interleukin 4 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of sheep Interleukin 4 (IL-4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and uses a standard sandwich enzyme immunoassay workflow with a biotinylated anti-IL-4 detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, TMB substrate and an acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The quantitative measurement range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a reported sensitivity of 5.9 pg/ml, and the complete assay takes approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Manufacturer-reported average values across sample types are 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma. Kit contents comprise a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated.
