Sheep IL-12 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of sheep IL-12 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The 4-hour colorimetric sandwich ELISA uses a pre-coated microplate read at 450 nm, with a working range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL. The assay is specific for IL-12 with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants.

In spike-and-recovery testing (n=10 per matrix), serum samples produced recoveries of 93-98% (average 95%), EDTA plasma 96-102% (average 100%), and heparin plasma 88-103% (average 96%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 was: serum 85-99%, 85-105%, 88-105%; EDTA plasma 86-98%, 89-93%, 84-89%; heparin plasma 82-96%, 81-95%, 86-99%.

The procedure employs a biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate with TMB substrate; absorbance is compared against a standard curve to calculate IL-12 concentration. Reagents should be stored at +4°C (or as instructed in the protocol), and the kit should not be used past its expiration date or subjected to repeated freeze/thaw cycles. For research use only.
