Sheep IL-10 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA enables the quantitative determination of sheep interleukin-10 (IL-10) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The 4-hour assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips); standards and samples are incubated, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a colorimetric read at 450 nm that is proportional to IL-10 concentration.

The assay is specific for IL-10 with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants. The product range is 15.625–1000 pg/mL and the stated sensitivity is <9.375 pg/mL. Manufacturer-reported recovery values are 85%–95% (average 91%) for serum, 85%–100% (average 92%) for EDTA plasma, and 87%–99% (average 96%) for heparin plasma. The kit is shipped at +4°C and components should be stored at +4°C (or -20°C as instructed in the protocol), with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided.
