Sheep EPO ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of sheep erythropoietin (EPO) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay runs in 4 hours on a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, using a biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate with TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm. The kit is specific for EPO with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants.

The quantitative range is 0.313-20 ng/mL, with a sensitivity of <0.188 ng/mL. Serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing; validated sample dilutions include healthy serum (1:2) and healthy plasma (1:2). Reported recovery (n=10 per matrix) is 87%-102% (average 96%) for serum, 86%-103% (average 93%) for EDTA plasma, and 86%-103% (average 95%) for heparin plasma.

Kit components are shipped at +4°C and stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the Protocol Manual. The kit should not be used past its expiration date, and freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided.
