Rat Wingless Type MMTV Integration Site Family, Member 4 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Wnt4 (Wingless Type MMTV Integration Site Family, Member 4) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The 96-well microtiter plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for Wnt4. Standards and test samples are added to the wells; captured Wnt4 is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-Wnt4 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the amount of Wnt4 captured, and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Reported sensitivity is <0.054 ng/ml and assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 h 30 m.

Spike-and-recovery data supplied with the kit (n=5) show average recoveries of 80–102% for serum, 81–100% for EDTA plasma and 80–89% for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity values are reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
