Rat Vitronectin ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Vitronectin/S-Protein in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and uses a biotinylated detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a coloured product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

The standard curve spans a product range of 78.1–5000 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <31 ng/ml. Sample recovery was evaluated for serum (average 91%, range 80–102%), EDTA plasma (average 90%, range 81–100%), and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80–89%). Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, with components stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.
