Rat Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor 3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. Manufactured by Antibodies.com, the assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for VEGF Receptor 3. Standards and samples are added to the wells and the target is bound by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-VEGF Receptor 3 detection antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The quantitative sandwich ELISA has an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.064 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Detection is colorimetric, performed on a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.

Spike-and-recovery has been validated in serum (range 80%–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81%–101%, average 91%, n=5), and heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, average 84%, n=5). Dilution linearity has been evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.
