Rat Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor D ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the quantitative in vitro determination of rat Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor D (VEGFD). The assay is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and is performed on a pre-coated microplate read at 450 nm with a colorimetric microplate reader. VEGFD in standards and samples is captured by an immobilised antibody, bound by a Biotinylated Anti-VEGFD Antibody, and detected using an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with the concentration of VEGFD calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The quantitative assay has a stated product range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <3.9 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 m. Reported recovery ranges are 80–102% in serum (average 91%, n=5), 81–100% in EDTA plasma (average 90%, n=5) and 80–89% in heparin plasma (average 84%, n=5). The kit is supplied with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers, with components stored at +4 °C or -20 °C as indicated.
