Rat V-Myc Myelocytomatosis Viral Oncogene Homolog ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the quantitative determination of rat c-Myc, also referenced in product information as V-Myc Myelocytomatosis Viral Oncogene Homolog, in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using a biotinylated anti-c-Myc detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The colourmetric reaction is developed with TMB substrate, stopped with acidic stop solution and read at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.062 ng/ml, and the protocol can be completed in 4 hours 30 minutes. In spiked sample testing (n=5), recoveries were 80–102% in serum, 81–100% in EDTA plasma and 80–89% in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across these same sample matrices.
