Rat UDP Glucuronosyltransferase 1 Family, Polypeptide A1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat UGT1A1 (UDP Glucuronosyltransferase 1 Family, Polypeptide A1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) bearing an immobilised antibody specific for UGT1A1.

Standards and samples are added to the wells, and captured UGT1A1 is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-UGT1A1 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate yields a blue product that turns yellow after addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and concentration is determined against a standard curve. The stated assay range is 1.56-100 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.54 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m.
