Rat Ubiquitin Carboxyl Terminal Hydrolase L1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat PGP9.5 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate, with a capture antibody specific for PGP9.5 immobilised on the plate. Standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-PGP9.5 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. After addition of TMB substrate and an acidic stop solution, the resulting colour change is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, with the absorbance value proportional to PGP9.5 concentration. The kit has a reported detection range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <25 pg/ml, with the full assay completed in approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.
