Rat Tyrosinase ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Tyrosinase in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips). An antibody specific for Tyrosinase is immobilised on the plate; standards and test samples are added and Tyrosinase present binds to the wells. After incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Tyrosinase Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colour change is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and quantified against the standard curve.

Detection is colourimetric with a sensitivity of <6.7 pg/ml and an assay range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Recovery has been demonstrated in serum (80%-102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (81%-100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (80%-89%, average 84%, n=5). Linearity has been shown across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5 each).
