Rat Troponin I Type 1, Slow Skeletal ELISA Kit

This sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat TNNI1 (Troponin I Type 1, Slow Skeletal) in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for TNNI1. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-TNNI1 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm.

Reported sensitivity is <10.7 pg/ml with an assay range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml, and total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Validation data from n=5 samples show recovery of 80%-102% (average 91%) in serum, 81%-100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma, and 80%-89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma. Linearity was assessed at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 for each sample type, with serum ranging 74%-107%, EDTA plasma 79%-108%, and heparin plasma 82%-105% across dilutions.
