Rat Trefoil Factor 3, Intestinal ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Trefoil Factor 3 (intestinal) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a colourimetric readout taken at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader. The full procedure takes 4 hours 30 minutes and components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Across five replicates per matrix, average recovery was 91% for serum (range 80%–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (81%–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (80%–89%). Linearity across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 on the same n=5 samples spanned 74%–107% for serum, 79%–108% for EDTA plasma and 82%–105% for heparin plasma. Sensitivity is reported at <44.8 pg/ml and the assay covers a working range of 125–8000 pg/ml, with concentrations calculated by interpolating sample absorbance against the standard curve produced from the kit's lyophilised standard.
