Rat Trefoil Factor 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Trefoil Factor 2 (TFF2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

The assay is run on a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm in a microplate reader following TMB substrate visualisation. Reported sensitivity is <0.064 ng/ml and the working range is 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported mean recovery from undiluted serum (n=5) is 91% (range 80%–102%), from EDTA plasma (n=5) is 90% (range 81%–100%), and from heparin plasma (n=5) is 84% (range 80%–89%). Dilution linearity is reported for 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions across each matrix. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
