Description

Antibodies.com offers a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Transient Receptor Potential Cation Channel Subfamily M, Member 6 (TRPM6) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using a microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for TRPM6. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where TRPM6 is captured by the immobilized antibody. Following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-TRPM6 Antibody binds the captured TRPM6, and HRP-Avidin conjugate is then added. TMB substrate solution produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the stop solution, with the absorbance measured at 450 nm in a microplate reader and TRPM6 concentration calculated from the standard curve.

The kit reports a sensitivity of <0.056 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Detection is colorimetric on a pre-coated microplate platform. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. The product is reactive with rat samples.
