Rat Transglutaminase 2, Tissue ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Transglutaminase 2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format with a biotinylated anti-Transglutaminase 2 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is developed with TMB substrate, stopped with an acidic solution, and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The kit is reactive with rat samples.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of <0.042 mU/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 mU/ml. Recovery data (n=5) average 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 has been demonstrated in all three matrices. Total assay time is 4h 30m, and kit components are held at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
