Rat Transgelin ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com sandwich ELISA kit enables in vitro quantitative determination of rat TAGLN/Transgelin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses an antibody specific for TAGLN/Transgelin pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Captured analyte is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-TAGLN/Transgelin Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate yielding a blue product that turns yellow after stop solution addition. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration calculated from a standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is <0.58 ng/ml with an assay range of 1.56-100 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Sample recovery across the tested sample types averages 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma, and 84% for heparin plasma, with dilution linearity maintained across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
