Rat Toll Like Receptor 4 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative measurement of rat Toll Like Receptor 4 (TLR4) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm against a standard curve. An antibody specific for TLR4 is immobilised on the plate, with a biotinylated anti-TLR4 detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate completing the sandwich; TMB substrate produces a yellow product whose intensity is proportional to TLR4 concentration.

The reported product range is 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.060 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery values are reported for serum (range 80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, average 84%), alongside dilution linearity data at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for each sample type.
