Rat Tissue Inhibitors Of Metalloproteinase 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Tissue Inhibitors of Metalloproteinase 3 (TIMP3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate configured as 12 x 8 well strips. Detection uses a biotinylated anti-TIMP3 antibody with HRP-avidin and TMB substrate, producing a colour change read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative performance specifications include a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.054 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery in serum averaged 91% (range 80%–102%, n=5), in EDTA plasma 90% (range 81%–100%, n=5), and in heparin plasma 84% (range 80%–89%, n=5).
