Rat Tissue Factor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) enables the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Tissue Factor in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. Detection is based on a colorimetric reaction read at 450 nm using a microplate reader.

Standards and test samples are added to a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an anti-Tissue Factor capture antibody, where the target is bound. A biotinylated anti-Tissue Factor detection antibody is then added to form the antibody–antigen–antibody sandwich, followed by HRP-Streptavidin or HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction; the resulting blue product turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution, and the yellow colour intensity is directly proportional to the Tissue Factor concentration, which is calculated against the standard curve.

The kit includes a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilised standard, detection reagents, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Stated sensitivities and working ranges include <13.5 pg/mL within 31.2–2000 pg/mL for a 4 h 30 min format, <0.38 ng/mL within 0.63–40 ng/mL for a 90 min rapid format, and <18.75 pg/mL within 31.25–2000 pg/mL for a 4 h format. No cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants has been reported.
