Rat Tight Junction Protein 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative determination of rat ZO1 Tight Junction Protein in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), a biotinylated anti-ZO1 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The reported product range is 0.156–10 ng/ml and sensitivity is <0.051 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Colour intensity is directly proportional to ZO1 captured per well, allowing concentrations to be calculated against a standard curve.

Spike-and-recovery across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5) gives averages of 91%, 90% and 84% respectively, with parallel dilution-linearity ranges provided for each matrix.
