Rat Thyroid Peroxidase ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Thyroid Peroxidase/TPO in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate (12 x 8 well strips), uses a biotinylated anti-Thyroid Peroxidase/TPO detection antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Performance figures quoted from the manufacturer: standard assay range 0.312-20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.132 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery in serum (n=5) ranged from 80% to 102% (average 91%); EDTA plasma (n=5) from 81% to 100% (average 90%); heparin plasma (n=5) from 80% to 89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16: serum 74%-107%, EDTA plasma 79%-108%, heparin plasma 82%-105%.

Kit components include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
