Rat Thymus Activation Regulated Chemokine ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat TARC/CCL17 (Thymus Activation Regulated Chemokine) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate, using a Biotinylated Anti-TARC/CCL17 Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The product range is 31.2–2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 12.4 pg/ml, and the assay is performed on a colourmetric microplate reader platform in approximately 4 h 30 m. Reported recovery ranges were 80%–102% for serum (average 91%), 81%–100% for EDTA plasma (average 90%) and 80%–89% for heparin plasma (average 84%), with dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 evaluated across these sample types. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the product must not be used past its expiration date.
