Rat Thy1 Cell Surface Antigen ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied under the Antibodies.com brand for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat CD90/Thy1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The test uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate with a biotinylated anti-CD90/Thy1 detection antibody and HRP-avidin reporting, visualised with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Components supplied include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.

The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity below 0.055 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery in rat serum averaged 92% (range 82–102%, n=5), EDTA plasma averaged 95% (range 91–100%, n=5), and heparin plasma averaged 94% (range 88–100%, n=5).
