Rat Thioredoxin ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Thioredoxin/TRX in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), a biotinylated anti-Thioredoxin/TRX detection antibody and HRP-avidin with TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

The reported assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.137 ng/ml. Recovery performance is reported in serum (range 90–101%, average 95%), EDTA plasma (91–99%, average 95%) and heparin plasma (90–99%, average 94%) across n=5 samples per matrix. Kit components are supplied for storage at +4 °C or –20 °C as instructed, and the kit is suitable for serum and plasma samples.
