Rat TGF-ß3 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com offers a sandwich ELISA kit designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat TGF-β3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The 4-hour assay uses a pre-coated microtiter plate, a biotinylated detection antibody, and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate to form an antibody–antigen–antibody sandwich complex. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm and the concentration of TGF-β3 calculated by comparing values to the standard curve.

Specific for TGF-β3 with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants, the kit has a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL. In validation testing, recovery in healthy serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma averaged 99%, 98%, and 95% respectively, and the assay performed consistently at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 sample dilutions. Reagents are shipped at +4°C and kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C according to the protocol manual.
