Rat TEK Tyrosine Kinase, Endothelial ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com sandwich ELISA is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat TIE2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

The quantitative immunoassay employs a biotinylated anti-TIE2 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a yellow product whose intensity is proportional to TIE2 concentration. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, with a reported assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.133 ng/ml.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Spiking recovery averaged 92% in serum (range 84%–100%, n=5), 91% in EDTA plasma (range 83%–99%, n=5) and 93% in heparin plasma (range 85%–101%, n=5).
