Rat Syndecan 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Syndecan 1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

Quantitative measurement is supported by a product range of 1.56–100 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.59 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. The protocol uses a Biotinylated Anti-Syndecan 1 Antibody together with an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with the density of the developed yellow product proportional to the amount of Syndecan 1 captured in each well.

Kit components include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solutions A and B (120 µl each), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and plate sealers (5 adhesive strips). Storage requirements vary by component between +4°C and -20°C.
