Rat Surfactant Associated Protein J ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables in vitro quantitative determination of rat Claudin18 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microtitre plate onto which standards and test samples are added; the captured Claudin18 is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-Claudin18 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate, then visualised with TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450nm in a microplate reader, with HRP catalysis producing a blue product that turns yellow on addition of acidic Stop Solution.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of 0.061 ng/ml and a quantitative range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Mean recoveries are 91% for serum (range 80-102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%, n=5). Linearity has been demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across these matrices, with values generally falling between 74% and 108%.
