Rat Steroid 5 Alpha Reductase 1 ELISA Kit

The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique using a pre-coated 96-well microplate. Standards and test samples are added to wells where SRD5A1 is captured by the immobilised antibody, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-SRD5A1 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a colour change measured at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.058 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Recovery and linearity data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across dilution series.
