Rat Stem Cell Factor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Stem Cell Factor (SCF) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), with a biotinylated anti-SCF antibody and HRP-avidin detection producing a colourmetric signal read at 450 nm.

Reported sensitivity is <5.4 pg/ml, with a standard range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery has been characterised in serum (n=5, 80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, 81%-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, 80%-89%, average 84%), and dilution linearity has been assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in each matrix. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
