Rat Stanniocalcin 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables in vitro quantitative determination of rat Stanniocalcin 1 (STC) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate, with a biotinylated anti-Stanniocalcin 1/STC detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, and absorbance read at 450 nm on a colourmetric microplate reader.

The quantitative assay covers a working range of 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.055 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Validation data show recovery in serum of 80-102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma of 81-100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma of 80-89% (average 84%). Sample dilution linearity has been demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
