Rat Smoothelin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Smoothelin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated microplate format with a biotinylated anti-Smoothelin detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, visualised using TMB substrate that produces a blue product turning yellow after addition of stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a sensitivity of <0.25 ng/ml and a standard range of 0.781–50 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components should be stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as indicated, and the product is intended for research use only.
