Rat Slit Homolog 2 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Slit Homolog 2 (Slit2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Slit2, with detection carried out via a biotinylated anti-Slit2 antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, producing a yellow colour whose intensity is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.053 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spiking recovery has been validated in serum (n=5, 82%–102%, average 92%), EDTA plasma (n=5, 91%–98%, average 94%), and heparin plasma (n=5, 86%–101%, average 93%). Dilution linearity was assessed across the same sample types at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions.
