Rat Slit Homolog 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Slit Homolog 1 (Slit1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with rat samples and is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate comprising 12 x 8 well strips. Detection uses a biotinylated anti-Slit1 antibody in conjunction with HRP-avidin, TMB substrate and an acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The manufacturer reports an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.052 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Quoted spiking recoveries are 82–102% (average 92%, n=5) in serum, 91–98% (average 94%, n=5) in EDTA plasma and 86–101% (average 93%, n=5) in heparin plasma. Linearity upon dilution (1:2 to 1:16) is reported across the ranges 73–109% for serum, 78–110% for EDTA plasma and 80–109% for heparin plasma (n=5 per matrix).
