Rat Selectin, Leukocyte ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat CD62L, also referred to as Selectin, Leukocyte, in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The format uses a microtitre plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for CD62L, which captures the analyte from standards or samples; detection is achieved with a biotinylated anti-CD62L antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer, the assay covers a measurement range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of 0.041 ng/ml. Reported recovery values are serum 80–102% (average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma 81–100% (average 90%, n=5), and heparin plasma 80–89% (average 84%, n=5), with linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions evaluated for these sample types. A lyophilised standard, detection reagents, wash buffer, TMB substrate and stop solution are supplied, with kit components stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.
