Rat Secreted Frizzled Related Protein 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Secreted Frizzled Related Protein 2 (SFRP2) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) together with a biotinylated anti-SFRP2 antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate, with signal visualised using TMB substrate and read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The quantitative assay range is 0.781–50 ng/ml, with a reported sensitivity of <0.34 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported spike-and-recovery values are 80%–102% (average 91%) for serum (n=5), 81%–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 80%–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma (n=5). Dilution linearity is provided across 1:2 to 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
